Capt. Lucid having no prior engagements decided to dock his vessel at the port in London. He begins bellowing commands to his inexperienced crew on proper docking procedure while roaming the helm of his large ship. Shouts ring out all over the ship as the crew begin preparation for docking. When Lucid was finished with instruction, he retreated into his quarters and awaited the notification of a successful docking. Upon Capt. Lucid's orders the crew snap into action and guide the vessel gently to the docking area.

Artemis stood looking out over the london harbor. She was scoping out all possible exit routes for the merchant vessel coming into port soon. She wanted to make sure she and her crew would have access to the ship and then be able to leave swiftly.
She noticed a ship docking, but not their flags. She made her way down the steps like a proper lady and over to the ship to greet the sailors. It was what all the girls who did not have anywhere else to be did. As it was a few had already gathered, but all moved out of her way as she approached. It was well known in all of England that 'that Delahaye girl' was not to be trifled with.
Artemis's family was rich, well known, and Artemis herself was daunting, tall, and her eyes; unforgiving. Her heels made hollow clicking as she approached. Her dress swished and billowed at her ankles, a beautiful shade of green, dark emerald. On her face were no specks of makeup, just the bindhi in the center of her forehead that her maid stuck on this morning. Her father had brought it home from India with him last night.

Vitani arrived at the harbor with Tellie in tow. She spotted Artemis, looking very ladylike, approaching a ship that had just docked. Vitani suspected it to be a pirate ship; however, she did not mention this to Tellie. Instead, she said, "Wait here-I have to change my clothes."
She sneaked into an abandoned warehouse and reached into the rucksack she had been lugging around, pulling out her elegant black dress, made in America, suprisingly enough. She put the dress on, her other garments taking the dress's place in the rucksack. She took out a silver comb and let down her hair. The wave of black tumbled down her back and she combed the knots out of it. She replaced the comb and emerged from the shadows of the warehouse, now looking as refined and elegant as Artemis.
"Stay close, we're going to meet the captain," she said quietly to Tellie. Then, she began making her way down to Artemis and the new ship.

Argememnon had been resting his eyes in his roomy captains quarters while his crew docked the ship. The 6'2 inch well built captain yawned, then proceded to climb under his crisp silk sheets. He stretched out on his wide four poster bed with a troubled sigh and shut his eyes. His mind wandered to the mistakes he had made when taking the assignment of shipping exotic spices - such as, cuman, curry, red pepper, and seasoned salts across such a contested expanse of open water as the pacific seemed to be these days. The long journey with an inexperienced crew had been a mistake on his part, he had lost 5 of his best men along with 10 of the bootlicks as he called them when the Crimson Kiss was attacked and boarded by a nomadic band of asian's in fur lined helmets. These asians, normally wouldn't have been much of a threat for the Kiss, but his green crewman in the crows nest had fallen asleep when assigned the job of lookout. The sneaky bastards used bamboo canoes to silently appraoch the ship without detection, and honestly most of the crewmen had been drunk on rum, so they didn't have the sense to check the surrounding water for small ships. The asians used make shift grapling hooks fashioned from entwined fishing net and large twisted metal hooks to silently board the ship, it was actually quite inventive, really.
Dentari, Argememnon's former first mate who was as sharp as a wood splinter in the foot had awoken with the first thud of metal latching to the sides of the boat. He did his duty flawlessly by attempting to ready the crewman for melee combat, but the sodding drunks didn't even have their cutlases nearby. Was hiring these blokes money well spent? Certainly not, they weren't worth the dabloon a peice that Argememnon paid to hire them. Dentari had sent one of the worthless sods to wake the captain and his regular crewman, so there'd be at least 7 semi coherent crewman and the captain to defend the ship. The first mate fought tirelessly, he had bravely dispatched the first wave of the invading party, though he was mortally wounded from a spear into the gut -painful injury as it was, he fought on.
Argememnon and his crack crew of count them '7' crewmen arrived on the deck after 'stumbles' the nickname for the green drunken crewman woke them from slumber. Argememnon let loose with his flintlock pistols- blasting fist size holes in the chest's of the foreign invaders, then he had seemlessly moved into melee himself. Seeing that the captain was quite an amazing swordsman, his ornate pearl handled rapier cut through the enemy ranks like a scythe through a wheat field. He received nothing more than flesh wounds in return, and even those wouldn't scar if he was lucky..and Argememnon was indeed quite lucky. These thoughts were tumbling through the captain's mind as he rested his eyes in his lavish apartment.
The Crimson Kiss is a sturdy well maintained corsair ship. It's masts and flank were constructed of a rare bright red oak that looks as if it's bleeding crimson when damp or wet. The ships sails are woven out of a sturdy crimson colored canvas, and his flag bear's Argememnon's crest- which is a coiled serpent imposed over three vertical and two horizontal bars of green, silver, and black. This majestic ship with it's billowing crimson sails, and it's dauntingly sturdy design was sitting docked along the london shipfront. A bunch of what looked to be inexperienced deckhands were attempting to lower the crimson and white docking ramp, and seemed to be doing quite poorly with it. After numerous failed attempts, the 'crack' crew finally managed to successfully lower it onto the dock with a crash. Argememnon heard the crash, and he slightly opened his right eye. "Bloody fools will be the death of me...and would have if it hadn't been for Dentari...." He trails off upon getting a bit choked up with the death of his good friend. "God rest your soul, mate." He said sadly and once again shut his eye in an attempt to get sleep.

Vitani caught up with Artemis. She observed the ship with interest; it was craftily made, with great color scheming, but was it a threat?
She stayed a step behing Artemis, and whispered, "My friend, this is not the vessel I spoke of. What shall we do about this new arrival?" The skirt of her dress was tossed about by the sea breeze, as was her curtain of hair. However, she kept her hands folded in front of her, like a proper young lady. Vitani held her head high, giving an aura of superiority second only to Artemis. She, like her friend and captain, was not someone you'd want on your list of enemies.

Artemis shrugged in reply to Vitani's question. "Let us meet their captain before we decide a way to take care of them. They might prove ally more than foe."
As another came to join them she turned and smiled slightly before turning back to the ship. The men on board were lazy, but dutiful, if that made any sense. She observed them and judged them as no current threat. The captain would be the deciding factor in a permanant title of friend or enemy.

The layabout crew of the large corsair ship spotted a small party of 8 approaching their vessel after they had successfully dropped anchor and extended the crimson and white docking ramp. Now that the small party was steadily closing in on their position the crew decided to alert the captain of their presence, because they didn't want a repeat of that last boarding. A crewman placed both of his meaty hands beside his mouth, he inhaled deeply before a deep bellowing shout rang out along the ships deck that was carried along by each crewman in turn, "Someone approaches, wake the captain!" Argememnon shifted uncomfortably- tossing his muscular frame onto his side in attempt to get into a comfortable sleeping position. His long charcoal color hair that reached down to his lower back bounced wildly as his face searched for the familiar indent on his large white down pillow. After a few seconds search his square jaw nestled comfortably into place, and he emitted a pleasurable sigh. It was far too warm to sleep in clothes, so he had stripped down to his birthday suit and neatly folded his clothes atop his cedar hope chest at the foot of his bed, before sliding under his sheets. Just when he finally drifted into the warm inviting zone of consciousness between wakefulness and dream, he was forcibly ripped out of it by his men's course shouts ringing out above deck. Argememnon furrowed his thin brows with a deep frustration, sighed, then opened the lids of his icy pale blue eyes. He layed there motionless thinking up inventive ways to castrate these tiring, idiotic crewmen that caused him a great deal of unnecessary stress. Another troubled sigh escaped his dry lips as he rolled onto his back. He shot a look of annoyed fury at the high ceiling of his wide quarters, and the heat of his pale gaze could have bore a hole into the sturdy red oak that it was constructed from. He angrily mumbled to himself - cursing the day he hired these moronic, miscreants aboard his vessel as he threw back his sheet exposing his tan well toned body, and the many tattoo's covering it. The most noticeable tattoo (when naked or bare chested) is that of an oriental dragon with it's wings spread inked into his back. He had got it along with a several warrants with his brief stay in China. He thought the warrants were quite unfair (how was he to know that the emperor's daughter, and her stock pile of riches were off limits to westerners?) Shutting his eyelids tight he brought his thumb and his index finger to his eyes and began to rub the sleep dust from them with a gentle touch. Covering his mouth with his fist he let out a powerful yawn as he pulled himself up to a sitting position on his firm mattress. Now that he was sitting he felt a powerful headache return in full force from lack of rest, and the bit of ale he had consumed earlier in the day. He licked his dry lips thinking about a frosty pint of golden liquid tickling his throat with Ecstasy. He shook his head from side to side to clear his thoughts sending his long silky black hair whipping about chaotically in all directions. As he relaxed and stilled his head shaking, the coal black hair that framed his attractive face cascaded around his skull falling back to it's former tangled and matted style. His raging headache was beginning to fade to nothing more than a small annoyance now that he was closer to being fully awake. He rose from the rather comfortable sitting position he was formerly and reached for his garments lay ed carefully atop the cedar chest. Argememnon unfolded his garments then slipped on his white cloth undergarments, then pulled on his bright white cotton shirt, and his midnight black cotton pants. He fastened the straps and belts on each garment tightly with practiced hands before sauntering over to his standing dark pine coat rack. He lifted his light red overcoat (that was adorned with black straps and silver buckles to tighten it across his chest) that was perfect for this kind of mild weather from the top hook of the polished rack. He slipped the red long coat that fell to the tall man's ankles onto his shoulders, the thick wide collar of this coat extended upwards nearly covering his mouth entirely. He casually walked back over to his hope chest, unclasped the thick lock hanging from it and reached in to grasp a pair of foot stockings and his black leather boots that nearly extended up to his knees, he quickly placed these on his feet, grabbed his pearl handled rapier and marched up and out his his quarters to the ship's deck. As the 6'2 inch male stepped out onto the open deck of the ship he was blasted with a gust of warm air and a slight mist from the ocean's waters that caressed his weary eyes and settled comfortably on the bare skin of his tanned clean shaven face. He judged the temperature to be just above 70 degrees, a comfortable inviting morning welcomed him to the deck. He immediately shot a menacing glare at the first crewman he'd spotted on deck, and spat, "What was important enough to wake me, crewman? The crewman hesitantly moved his arm and shakily pointed at the group approaching the ship. "Ah, I see. You've done well." The captain said jovially and clapped the crewman on the back. The crewman was still hesitant to move and was gazing at the captain curiously. Argememnon stood there looking the man in the eyes for a long minute before speaking in a commanding tone, "Well....get to work. He watched the crewman jump to attention and hurry off to the work. Argememnon called after him in a powerful shout, "And Swab this deck, you lazy cur, I want to see it shine." He noticed the men ready themselves for work as they heard his powerful voice drown out their chatter. Pleased, the captain made his way to the docking ramp of the crimson kiss and awaited his visitors. OOC: I apologize for the length, and the content .

Vitani turned and acknowledged Luffy and his crew with a small nod, then said, "Good morning." After giving a small, hopefully friendly, smile, she turned back to the ship, watching, as Artemis was, for the captain.
He soon made his presence known. It was obvious to Vitani who the captain was--a handsome, well-dressed man, cleaner than everyone else on board the ship. Also, the only one not scurrying about, completing some necessary chore. She watched as he made his way towards them, deciding to follow Artemis's lead.

Luffy runs up to the man "wow your ship is huge! are you a pirate?!?!" Robin and zorro look at his crew "slobs"robin mutters under her breath. Nami looks around trying to get a glimpse of any tresure they might have. sanji looks uninterested till he spots the girl and her captin "hello lovely ladies a rose for each of you" sanji smiles at them and hands them each a rose.

Vitani accepted the rose, and could not help but give a little smirk as she lifted the flower to her nose and smelled it. She admired the beauty of the rose, so delicate and lovely, and yet with a stem covered in thorns. Beautiful, but dangerous...just like Vitani, actually.
She tucked a stray whisp of black hair that had blown across her face behind her right ear. Then, Vitani said to the man, "Why, thank you, sir. Might I inquire as to your name?" However, she didn't fully turn her back on the Captain of the Crimson Kiss, and out of the corner of her eye she watched the him, as well as the seemingly foolish Luffy.

Sanji smiles at her "why i my dear am Sanji the ever talented captin of the merry go" Sanji kisses her hand. As he does he notices her watching luffy and observes nami looking for a way to rob the ship, "as foolish as he may seem our captin is quite the brave man in battle." Sanji smiles at her. At the same time zorro's eyes met with the eyes of the captin of the crimson kiss. It was almost as if they were measureing eachother's strength just by looking at eachother. robin however was staring at the female captin standing by sanji and the girl. Robin felt like she had seen this woman before and thought to herself *could I have encountered her when I was with baroukes works?* Luffy lifted up his straw hat so he could see the captin more clearly.

Artemis brushed away the rose. Even though this might have come off as rude, it was only because she was set on her task and could not be strayed from it.
As the captain of the Crimson Kiss arrived on deck, Artemis put on her most feminine of expressions. SHe approached the side of the ship, obidiently standing silently, not disturbing the conversation of the captain with that of the foolish other man, even though she truly wanted to shove him aside and get on with finding out about the new arrivals.
She straightened her dress and bat her lashes, acting a bit shy, but all the more lady-like. Mentally, she thanked her mother and father for bringing her up in high society. It was very helpful in keeping her from being found out as a pirate.
Beckoning Vitani to her side and away from the haphazardly crew of the man she stood next to in the straw hat, she cleared her throat politely. "Sir," She addressed Luffy. "Of course the fine captain is not a pirate. Why would you ever ask? Do you wish him to be hanged? He will, of course, if he is even suspected!"
She set her ocean blue eyes upon him in a stern, but unimplying stare. SHe would not want a possible ally to go to the British hounds just yet.

Luffy gave her a look like she was nuts, but he knew when e wasn't wanted and walked away asking himself "why would someone want to hang a pirate?" Robin stares at the woman and then shruggs it off and follows Luffy and the crew. Luffy looks back at the others and says "come on guys we still need to find a musician for our crew" nami hits luffy on the back of the head "For a captin you sure are stupid! we don't need a musicain we need a carpenter! we can't sail around in a busted pirate ship!" Luffy looks at nami with his puppy dog eyes and says "but i want a musician" nami looks at him sternly "no"

Vitani said, "Excuse me," to Sanji, and moved to Artemis's side and stood quietly, awaiting her chance to speak. She did not turn and watch as the wacky crew turned and left. Sanji said that their captain was no fool, but it certainly looked as though he was. Why would anyone want to hang a pirate? he had said. Vitani decided that he was only foolish because of his ignorance, which may well get the man hanged.
Vitani curtsied for the captain of the Crimson Kiss and gave a friendly smile, then waited for the captain to address her; a proper lady does not speak until spoken to. She had been brought up that way, as had Artemis, although Vitani tended not to act so when solely in the company of her friend. And Artemis speaking just had merely been to rid them of a shipload of fools who were going to get themselves into serious trouble sooner or later, which was for the better.

Sanji said that their captain was no fool, but it certainly looked as though he was. Why would anyone want to hang a pirate? he had said. The well built Captain of the Crimson Kiss stood statuesquely near a row of pine barrels that were stacked neatly in rows of 5 long and 6 deep - that contained a high quality Ale he had purchased from an acquaintance of his for a rather steep price while in Germanic regions of Europe. The golden ale resting inside these barrels wasn’t the type of common drink served in local seaport taverns, it was far more potent and was a rare treat to come across even for one as well traveled as Argememnon himself. He threw a casual glance over to the row of neatly stacked barrels – for he deeply desired a pint of this golden ambrosia. With that quick, casual glance - his sharp eyes caught a serious discrepancy with his recently acquired merchandise. There were large puncture holes in the sides of two barrels in the far back row. His pale blue eyes narrowed, his broad shoulders tensed, and he emitted an exasperated grunt, and although he was able to maintain a rather calm outward demeanor- anger slowly baked within him. The filthy, flea brained crewman had tapped his private reserve without his consent, or so it appeared. He began to mule over how he’d deal with their worthless hides when the matter of his visitors had been dealt with. Each of them, whether innocent or not would receive ten lashes of his whip across their thick hairy backs-that should deter them from attempting something of the sort again in the future; “Bastards, worthless sons of pigs, all of them.” The Furious captain grumbled under his breath while glaring at the empty barrels. The rather disgruntled captain’s pale eyes lingered upon the empty barrels that once contained that of his treasured elixir of boredom, and lonely cold nights at sea – before his sharp eyes spotted a rather bizarre welcoming committee, or something of the sort whom had just stopped short of the edge of the slick dew covered docking platform. His pencil thin eyebrow inclined upward with surprise, and amusement upon taking in the image of the ramshackle, oddly dressed crewmen of the man in the straw hat. The Captain’s frosty gaze met and lingered upon the eyes of one the man’s crewman who seemed to be measuring his strength with but a glance, it was something he did quite often himself when in the company of strange folk, he smiled inwardly for he doing the exact thing himself at the moment. However, his did not linger upon the crewman long – for the man in the straw hat commented quite loudly on the obvious size of his sturdy corsair ship, then proceeded to ask him openly if he was indeed a pirate. The Captain of the Crimson Kiss wasn’t a rigid man by any means, though he was when the situation called for it- so, he had to forcibly restrain himself from exploding into a fit of laughter at the mere boldness of this young man’s question. Expending tremendous effort he was able kept his face tight and expressionless though the outline of a smile could be seen if one had sharp enough eyes to pick it out. The captain responded in a course sarcastic monotone that would have rendered the feeling of sandpaper across bare skin soft and comforting. “A pirate, me? Why of course. Did my peg leg, eye patch, or my parrot give me away? Or was it my ship, it could have been the ship.” He let out an exasperated sigh after speaking his piece that was rather high in pitch. He peeled his eyes from the rather foolish man – but kept a watchful eye on him nonetheless, casting a weary glance at the two finely dressed women that were accompanied by this odd group. His practiced eyes picked up the refined ladylike curtsy that was common among nobles, and women of higher class – she was the woman wearing a black expensive looking dress made from what appeared to be high quality materials. He smiled warmly - for he was unused to receiving such an open gesture of respect from a lady of her suspected station. Accepting her curtsy, Argememnon swept into a deep practiced bow often used by nobleman of high station that was quite difficult to imitate if one was not raised in high society. He flowed like to a calm stream back to his original standing position and spoke to her respectfully, “My dear ladies.” He glanced at the other woman who earlier had corrected the man in the straw hat about the whole pirate business with a stern tongue. “It is an honor to receive such a welcome. I certainly did not expect to rise this day and set my weary eyes upon such lovely women as yourselves. What do I owe for such an honor?” He thought to himself that he might have overdone it a little, but women of their station expected compliments and well wishes from males of his trade, and by trade he meant trade…as in merchant.

I stole that fair and square!" "as awful as he may be Nami he did nothing to us so we can not rob him!" Luffy leactured to nami, who crossed her arms and glared at him "spoil sport"

Artemis sighed at the compliments, but tried to hide it. She knew her station made her a target for such over zealous remarks. She nodded to the captain.
"What brings you to the fair port of London, sir?" She asked, a bored tone now gracing her voice.
Her life as a pirate had certainly made her rougher around the edges, and it showed in subtle ways no matter how she tried to hide it. She tried not to let her eyes wander over his ship and assess his crew, but by nature she did.

Vitani smiled at the man but said nothing. She would let Artemis do the talking for the time being. In the meantime, her gaze flickered to the strange pirate crew not too far away. One had succeeded in robbing crew members on the ship, but their captain was reprimanding her and had returned the money. Fools, the lot of them. Except for the one fellow who had been staring down this other captain, sizing him up; he looked as though he were cunning and strong. Sanji had potential as well, but he seemed a bit conceited, which always got in the way.
Vitani turned her gaze to the magnificent ship entitled the Crimson Kiss. Quite the title, and quite the ship. It was grand and wonderfully built, a beautiful corsair ship. Of course, the Harlot's Tear was its equal, if not superior...Vitani felt herself longing to be on her and Artemis's ship. To set sail, and go wherever the winds lead, climbing like a monkey in the rigging, keeping watch on a clear night...She loves being a pirate, the freedom, the adventure and uncertainty...Vitani lives for that. She and Artemis had not gone pillaging in some time...they sailed, of course, but had recently taken a break. Their reputation was spreading far too much, and they needed to lie low for a while...but Vitani still longed to brave the open ocean again, just like they had done so many times before.

Luffy and crew sit near the ship haveing nothing better to do, they start reminising about all of their past adventures. "I tell you these british pirates look so freaking weak, I mean my god that crew looks like they were imbred from monkeys." Zorro said. "yeah really, Arlong or buggy would wipe the floor with them. and who does that chick think she is? she is so obvioulsy a pirate." Nami said glareing at the female captin and her first mate. "well if we were to get in a fight the powers Mr. Captin, Mr.Doctor and myself recieved from the devil fruit would be more that sufficiant to destroy them" Commented robin. "they would have dies in seconds against barokes works thats for sure!" Usopp starts to laugh.

The grey eyed pirates long crimson coat was pulled open by a faint tepid breeze as if by invisible fingers. The rather comforting air swirled about the captain’s clothes pulling the fabric of his white silk shirt tightly against his muscular chest. His rock hard chest and abdominal muscles that were finely crafted from his many years at sea, not to mention the great care he took of his health -were clearly visible through the thin, now transparent fabric. A small tattoo of a coiled serpent inked into the mans left pectoral muscle, which was outlined in black and colored in a light forest green revealed itself proudly as his shirt collar was tugged away from his tan skin. Carried by this faint current, Argememnon’s rather long charcoal colored hair danced around his chiseled attractive facial features as if attached to puppeteer’s strings. The long freshly washed strands of the mans hair partially obscured the left side of his handsome face in a curtain of black silk, but his frosty blue eyes never moved from the two women in front of him. He wore a bright toothy smile that clearly indicated mischievous or playful behavior with the comments he had so elegantly dropped at the two women’s feet. However, the woman who clearly seemed to be of higher station than the other- judged solely on their body language of course, didn’t seem to take too kindly to his flattery. Perhaps he had misjudged the situation, the woman clearly behaved with refined mannerisms, yet she didn’t receive his compliment with practiced, feigned amusement, surely he hadn’t misjudged her station. The Captain of the crimson kiss raised his thin eyebrows in a mixture of amusement and curiosity at the bored tone gracing the woman’s voice. His chiseled jaw muscles flex tightly on his smooth tan face as he cracked an amused smile. “My lady, I’ve been overseas for weeks transporting goods across the wide contested expanse of the pacific. I’ve docked here, not only for provisions but to locate and hire competent crewmen to replace the men whom I’ve lost to pirates, and brigands.” He spoke in a refined elegant manner indicating that he had been schooled, and most likely was raised among high society himself. Before she had the chance to reply, he waved his hand casually toward the oddly dressed crewmen of the man in the staw hat. "Are these strange folk part of your retinue?" He asked honestly, curious as to why they were accomanying her. His unblinking, strong pale blue eyes were fixed upon Artemis' ocean colored eyes. His gaze held strength, weariness, as well as pain. His gaze bore the sigil of a warrior, behind them resided a man of conviction, virtue, strength, compassion and exiled nobility. ooc: not the best post, but meh... Randomness for the hell of it:Pirates Rule!!! No seriously...they do.
