Artemis strolled down the crowded streets of Bristol. The day was clouded and it threatened to rain, but business went on as usual. Down at the docks people bustled about, sailors loaded and unloaded ships, and set sail, pulled by smaller tugging boats.
She smiled as children ran about in a game of tig. Then she zigzaged through a gaggle of merchants chatting about prices of sugar, rum, and slaves. She came out on the other side and walked down a few steps to a passage along the wall to a fairly deserted dock. She took a seat and regarded the work and the lapping of the water against the pilings.

Christine was taking a walk among her people. She smiled as she watched eveyone happy. She greeted everyone, and some bowed to her. She didn't really like it when people did that, but she was used to it by now. She sighed, and smiled to them. She saw a women sailor of some sort, and went behind her while she was working.
"Wonderful morning isn't it."

Upon hearing an all too familiar voice she stood and turned. A few feet away was who she recognized to be the queen. She nearly ran and hid, but then realized that she wouldn't know who she was. Nobody even knew that her ship and crew existed still, thinking that it was all an ancient legend that died out with the last century.
She smiled a relaxed grin and walked over. "Good day, Madame. It is a wonderful morning as you've stated."
She was glad now that though she might hold herself like a sailor, she was dressed like a proper lady. Her appearance was of a young merchant's daughter of sixteen, wanting to sail like her father, but being confined to shore. It was a plausable disguise. That was mostly due to the fact that she really was a merchant's daughter. However, she was hardly confined to the shore.

"So how are you today Sailor, I myself have doing well, not many pirates have come lately, and I am happy for my people,"she said smiling happily. The pirates only corrupted her people. They stole goods, killed many, and have taken women as slaves. She was glad not many have come to her ports in a while. The more peace the better it was. She put some of her blonde hair behind her ears. She had gold earrings in, she wasn't usually the one who dressed fancy all the time, but she had to look presentable to look at.

Artemis laughed gently. "I am no sailor. I wish to be, but my father would never allow such behavior of his daughters."

"Males always looking down on women like they have no feelings, I was always a rebel when it came to my Father,"she said with a low chuckle remembering everything she had done against her Father.
"He said I had to act like a proper young lady, I did when he was around, but when he was gone oh what fun I had."

"I rebel as well, but I can not just take to the seas. Besides how much dishonor I would do him, I would no doubt give the poor man a heart attack to end his life as well. He needs no more sorrow in his life." Artemis' smile faultered only slightly for a fraction of a second.

(OOC: First to The Queen it would be, Queen Anne of Denmark (Oct. 14, 1574 - March 4, 1619) if this is taking place in 1613. Second just about no Queen ever anywhere would just going walking around with the commoners. In fact only the very rich and wealthy highest ranking nobles would have any chance to meet the royal family and that would be at the royal court yard of the castle. The reason being first you don't care of the commoner and second you may get killed. Like a pirate like her would certainly want to kill you as the Queen. Also you wouldn't call her sailor as you would not know she is a sailor. The reason being that it was against the law for women to be sailors and was punishable by death. The only female sailors were pirates as the pirates would kidnap women because they got "lonely" at sea and they would keep them as pirates for life or get sick of them and kill them or make them maids for the ship in some cases. I don't mean to be all nit picky just letting you know. ) A large ship came into dock. It was well maned by a larger then average crew. It was in very good shape and showed little damage if any. Just above the crows nest flew a large blue flag. It had 5 large white stars in a circle in the center was a large anchor. To the left of the anchor the letter B just above it was the letter R and to the right was the letter N. Above this flew the British Flag. Below it flew a large blue flag with the letters R M S in large white letters. The first blue flag with an anchor was a sure sign that this was a flag ship, meaning that a very high ranking officer was aboard. The 5 white stars meant that this ship was that of the Admiral of the fleet, the highest ranking officer in the British Royal Navy. (The B R N thats surrounds the anchor). The flag below that showed that it was a Royal Majesty's Ship and in service to the King and Queen of Britain. (The R M S). Off walked a man wearing a blue uniform. He wore a blue hat a blue jacket vest that held 5 silver stars on one side of his collar. On the other had the letter B R N in silver. On each shoulder he had a gold patch (showing he is an Admiral) with the 5 silver stars and anchor. (Showing that he is the highest ranking Admiral) On each of the two sleeves of his jacket there was a large thick gold bar (shows that he was an Admiral) with four smaller thiner gold bars above it. (Admiral plus four promotions making him Admiral of the Fleet). He had blue pants with polished boots. He carried a loaded pistol and a gold handled silver sword at his side. (Both shows that he is an officer) As he walked the crew of his whole ship stood still, offering him a salute. In like manner did the crews of all the other ships at the harbor. Stopping what they had done to show the proper respect to such a rank. Some of the commoners also saluted as he walked by. He came cross The Queen. He was surprised to see her out with the commoners like this but in any case he bowed and kissed her hand. "Good day, my Queen". He smiled at the girl that she was with. He bowed again. "Good day, miss".

((First this is historical FICTION! She can be whatever d**n queen she wants, even Cleopatra, Queen of the Nile! XP. Secondly, Denmark is not a part of England... Third women could choose to be pirates if they wanted of their own free will and were good at it too, Anne Bonny and Mary Read, or Granny O'Malley... And also, if she feels like being out in public she can, she knows what she risks, and maybe she wants to liven the story up some with it... and i would want to kill her because... I don't kill people who haven't offended me. I mean sure she has her navy hunt pirates like me, but she doesn't know i'm a pirate so i don't take it personally, she's looking outfor the good of her people. The only part i agree with is the knowing I'm a sailor bit, as that wouldn't be likely, but she could rp it, as I did, as if she was being facecious...))
Artemis curtsied and acted the shy part. It would not be good to use her usual brash manner with the Navy. Most of them were more crooks than pirates, but she'd give this one a chance as he was an Admiral, though really that probably meant he was the worst of the bunch.
"Morning, sir." She backed away slowly. "I best be off, father will be looking for me. It was a joy to have met up with both of you, even for this short time. Faire you well."
She smiled warmly and turned, skipping a bit down the side streets. Her dark chesnut hair flowed behind her, shining gold in the flashing sunlight.
((Wah- *wears her pirate wig* I am the coolest, I know! Oh and you don't have to let me leave...))

(OOC: Bows to The Pirate Queen. Very well my Queen as you say. Also I know that Denmark is not part of England. Queen Anne of Denmark was born in Denmark on Oct. 14, 1574 as the princess to The King of Denmark. She married King James VI (Charles James) of Scotland on May 17, 1590. King James VI of Scotland became King of England, Ireland and Whales on March 24, 1603. (That made him King James I of England, Ireland and Whales) That made Queen Anne, Queen of Scotland, England, Ireland and Whales until her death March 4 1619. (She was never actually Queen of Denmark, she was just the Princess but was Queen Anne of Denmark as that was where she was from). No big deal I'm just letting you know as you said she could have any name she wants as this is historical fiction.)(*Interesting facts about King James. He was born June 19, 1566. His mother(The Queen of Scotland) was imprisoned for having her husband (The King of Scotland) killed. As their only child he was crowned King. It was July 24, 1567. Thats right he was just over 1 year old. (13 months and crowned King kinda young). He was the grandson of King Henry VIII that had 8 wifes (All he had killed). King Henry VIII invented the British Royal Navy. King Henry VIII also is responsible for the creation of the protestant religion. That King James and Queen Anne were both protestant. King James in 1604 had 47 men translate The Bible from Latin into English. It was finished in 1611. He died March 27, 1625.)

(OOC: lol keep in mind that I am also The Pirate King so you should already know me. Thats why I must act like a gentleman to The Queen of England so that she dose not suspect me as a pirate. Thats actually why I bowed to you as you are my Pirate Queen. I'm not just an Admiral, I am The Admiral of the Fleet. I am the one and only Admiral of the Fleet of the whole country. Meaning that I out rank everyone in the whole Navy. I'm not just an officer I've been made officer then promoted 10 times. That makes me 6 ranks above a Commander. That makes me 5 ranks above a Captain. That makes me 4 ranks above a Commodore. lol Sorry I like my job. I'm a big fan of the military as you may have guessed.)(*Note to The Queen of England. It is very likely that you would know me, as The Admiral of the Fleet is almost always hand picked by The King and The Queen. Also I would come to you and talk to you face to face and let you know what I am doing with the Navy and whats going on with them. Actually as far as the Navy is concerned in their eyes I actually hold more power then you. As Queen you would decide when to go to war and with who. After that you hand all power over to me and I run the war and make all the command choices. Actually as most of the Navy is concerned I am basically their God. I hold their lives in my hand, they fear me more then you. As I serve you your wishes are many carried out any ways. Thats why when ever I walk the whole Navy stands still, stops what they are doing and solute me. That is a fairly accurate account of what would happen if The Admiral of the Fleet was around.) (Sorry this is so long but a few more things. First as this is in 1613 that really makes Boston and New York bad places to trade with, as the pilgrims didn't arrive until 1620. Also I was wondering if you happend to know the few places that the pirates feared most. I believe that Cape Horn is one of them. It is so dangerous and deadly that if they were lucky enough to survive they ether got a tattoo or an earing. That way one pirate could see that another has alot of experience. Also if they were to meet in a bar room it is unlikely that an unmarked pirate would dare fight a pirate with an earing or tattoo or both as the unmarked pirate would almost always be the one not only to lose the fight but get killed. It would take alot of skill and body strength to hold on to a ship that gets flipped over or hit by 50 foot waves. Sometimes a ship would take on so much water that it would flood the lower rooms and pirates would drown still on the ship. Also many would be thrown from the ship from the force of the waves crashing into it. It would not be strange for a ship with a crew of 75 men come back with 60 and only 50 alive. Sometimes worse a crew of 75 would sometimes come back with 40 men and 20 to 25 are alive. Do you know the places and symbols? Again sorry this is so long) "Well then I wish you good day". He wanted to run after her, but he couldn't as that would mean that he would have to turn his back and run off on The Queen. As he was in his Admiral of The Fleet uniform he could not do such a thing. "I do hope the girl's father is not upset with her". He smiled and laughed a bit. "If she tells him that she was talking to The Queen and The Admiral of The Fleet then he would likely tell her to turn around and go back". "Anyways how is the pirate problem?" "The Navy has been on steady watch for any rebel ships". "We are keeping them at bay that is for sure". "They shall not be allowed to infest ower humble streets". "In any case my Queen, how are you doing this fine day?" "I should hope that it finds you well".

((ARGGGG! Ok first of all with the telling me things i already know, DON'T. I'm a history buff, I know all this except the Queen Anne bit, because I ... didn't, but all that about James and Henry I knew. Henry was for a while one of my favorite Kings to read about. Anyway, STOP BOOSTING YOUR EGO! It's very annoying to read about how you're a GOD to the flipping navy... I don't give a rats ass! Ok... rant over for now... though I'm still very upset...))

(Yes....go Artemis) Tellie walked down the crowded streets and was cautious as she was a runaway slave. If anyone caught her, she would surely be hanged. She passed many people who eyed her suspiciously, but wasn't intimidated, because she was only a small distance away from her freedom. (if this is too short I apologize, but I don't really know what to say til someone responds to me...again sorry)

Artemis saw a girl darting down the street. She paused momentarily and watched her from a distance. The shadows of the buildings cast a cooling shadows in the heat of the body-packed streets.
"Hmm..." She shrugged and continued on, unhindered.
((Also, for reference no one knows i'm the Pirate Queen, not even the Pirate King, because of the whole story that goes with it which i'm not revealing yet...))

Vitani was barely recognizable in her current attire. She wore a plain dress with an apron over it, and a bonnet on her head. She looked just like any other peasant maid on her way to the market. But that was not Vitani's mission. No, she was searching for her captain.
The Harlot's Tear was anchored in a few miles away from Bristol, in an inlet that only pirates knew of--the idiotic Royal Navy had not yet discovered it. Vitani was looking for Artemis, her captain, to inform her of some newly acquired information on the next shipment of goods arriving from America.
Vitani nonchalantly studied the crowd that bustled all around her. She swept a few locks of her ebony-black hair that had escaped the bonnet on her head as her gaze searched the crowd for a head of chestnut hair...

(OOC: I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you. I actually thought that you may have been impressed or enjoyed reading about all the history as your a history buff. I thought that you may have already known that or be happy that you may learn something new. About being a "God" of the navy, I thought that you may have wanted to know all that as it is not only very accurate but it is very likey that even your character would be rather impressed with his rank. Anyways I guess that I was very wrong and that my good intentions backfired on me. Anyways again I'm very sorry and I'll try not to bother you any more. Also you know me but I don't know you? That confuses me a little bit. My last few post I assumed that we knew each other so sorry about that.)
He continued his conversation with The Queen. They were still walking throw the crowd of people that was all around them. He still wondered why The queen would leave her castle to walk among the crowded strees.

Vitani was growing frustrated now. This was a very large shipment coming in, packed to the brim with the riches of America. She quickened her pace, then, finally, spotted the captain.
Vitani hurried towards Artemis. When she was within earshot, she called out: "Artemis!"

She smiled," I am fine this morning, thank you sir, the pirate problem is fine, and please I don't really want to talk about bussiness, it ruins the day,"she said happily. She loved her morning walks, and what was the point of being queen if you didn't interact with her people. "I love my morning walk, especially being around my people, what's the point of ruling if you never interacted with any of them,"she said because maybe he was wondering why she was out of her castle.

The Fleet Admiral bows deeply to The Queen. "Please excuse me your highness but I must respond to this matter at once". He runs toward the man and the rest of his crew. He then motions for his owen crew to get off his boat and to surround this man and his crew. With in a few seconds they were completly surrounded. "Arrest these men for being suspected of being pirates". He points to the flag as proof. "Take thier ship and bring them on board ower ship so that we can take them away to have judged and hanged".

Zorro smirked "I knew today was gonna be fun!" Zorro tied a black bandana around his head. Sangi lit a cigerete and put his hands in his pocket. Luffy cracked his neck and knuckles. Robin streched her fingers. Ussop started sweating bullets. Zorro pulled out three swords, he put the one with the white handle in his mouth, while he held the two with the black handles in his hands. "SHIMI THREE SWORD STYLE!!!!" zorro attacks the gaurds delivering devistating slash attacks to them. semding some of the gaurds to the ground in a puddle of blood. Luffy starts punching and kicking the gaurds sending the flying everywhere "GUM GUM SHOTGUN!!!!!" Luffy delivers a devistating punch to a guard sending him into the water. Nami pulls out her tthree piece staff and begins swinging it at the gaurds knocking many of them out. Sanji begins delivering kick after kick to the gaurds' necks and heads, his hands are still in his pokets. Nico Robin Dashes at the gaurds, she touches each gaurd with only one finger paralizing them instantly "pressure points can be very useful in a close spot." Ussop pull out his sling shot and shoots a small ball at the gaurds "USSOP FIRE BALL!!!!" the ball explodes on impact with the gaurds. Luffy and crew stand around the either half dead or unconsious gaurds. Luffy looks at the man gives him a dirty look then it becomes a smile as he says "I'M GONNA BE KING OF THE PIRATES!" luffy then walks up to the guy again "so I'm hungry where can I get something to eat?"
