"Wake up miss...we're in Bristol" A man's voice said politely, as he gently touched her shoulder. Elodie's eyes slowly open, as she realized the wagon had come to a stop. She sat up, streached her arms and brushed some of the straw entangled in her hair.
She looked at the man, the events of the previous days seeming blurry as her mind was not fully functional yet. She yawned, stretching once more, then stood up and jumped off the wagon. She looked back to the man, saying "thank you so much" as she put her hand to her forehead and waved it away, as if a member of the Queen's royal guard.
She then made her way into town. She had been on the road for the past few days, escaping from the London bar fight that had caused much comotion.
Elodie realized this was market day, as shops lined the streets and flocks of people made it almost impossible to walk without bumping into someone every two seconds. She, of course, was wary of thiefs. Herself being one as needed, she knew they took advantage of crowds to make most of their profits.
As she walked by a stand, she discretely snatched a loaf of bread. Farther down the street, she took a large bite out of it, relishing the taste as she had not eaten in at least a day.

A man in an elegent Royal Navy uniform walked down the streets. "Good morning miss". He smiled and removed his hat. He saw here eating there alone, well as alone as she could be in a crowded street like this. She looked hungery as if she hasn't eaten in some time. He was also hungery and to do a good deed as well as get something to eat and even have someone to talk to he spoke to her. "You look quite hugery there, as I was going to get something to eat myself anyways I was wondering if by any chance you would care to join me?"

Elodie finished swallowing as a man elegantly dressed seemed to be walking by. She glanced at him from the corner of her eye, examining his attire and realized he was part of the navy. A chill ran through her spine "Oh great..." she thought "he knows who i am"
However afraid she was, she managed to keep her feelings well concealed and gently smiled. She bowed her head slightly, as a sign of respect once he had spoken. She pushed a strand of hair behind her ear and said with a light french accent "Thank you for your generous offer sir, but I am afraid I am going to have to decline." She could not take the risk of being recognized.
She began to walk away, ignorant to her destination as usual.

"Are you sure?" "That is indeed very disapointing". He fallowed her. "Maybe I should just pay for your stolen bread then and call that bying you dinner". He said trying to grab her atention.

Elodie turned around, looked at him straight in the eyes, her own firery with her innate passion "I am afraid you are going to have to be dissapointed sir, as I will not dine with you."
She turned around once more and began to walk away, at a faster pace this time. She was trying to get away, but had the feeling he was not going to give up. "Why in the world is he so persistent?" She thought. Perhaps he had recognized her but just wanted to be sure of her identity. Whatever the case was, she needed to get away.

I wanted to get to talk to you and offically ask you to join my crew IC but your making it hard on me here. Is there any reason why your being hard or did you just want me to beg you or something? I'm just wondering whats going on exactly thats all.)

(lol...I'm sorry if I am making it hard on you, I suppose i did mean to since I am trying to make her a realistic person and in character. There are several reasons why i did not accept your offer the way i did. 1. She doesnt trust people, she is a loner, so she is not suddenly going to be all nice to a person she doesnt know. 2. the most important reason is that she thinks your a naval officer...i mean, why in the world would she accept an offer to dinner with a guy she thinks is going to put her in jail and get money out of it? She has no idea your a pirate. Even if she is starving, she can go and steal food....I'm not trying to be mean or anything, just trying to stick to logic and my character's personality. All she wants at this point is get out of town, go to the caribean or somethin...get away. I'm not trying to make you beg, or be mean, just stick to my character.)

(Ok thanks. So now what do I do? Chaceing after you sounds like the worst idea as you would likely think that I was going to arrest you. Should I maybe send one of my pirates after you? Your character wouldn't trust them right away but she would at least feel less threatened and with more fimailar comapany. I'm guessing that she would also not feel treatened as she can take care of herself as she showed in the bar fight thread. So would that work?)

He hated losing but he wouldn't give up on this girl that easily. He wanted this girl to join him, it was clear that she was a pirate he could feel it. There was a few spys here and there that he could count on. After fallowing her for a short time he found one of his men under cover. The man looked like a begger but was really a pirate, he droped a few coins in his cup and wispered the order to fallow her and check her out. He took a few side roads and finally came to where he was ahead of her. He stole a half a dozen wallets on his way. Seeing her in sight he hid the wallets under a pile of hay that had fallen off a horse drawn cart and sat there with his cup out and the wallets under him well hiden. When she was standing in frount of his he asked, "Miss, you got any change that you could be spareing today?"

Elodie walked down the stree, looking around at food shops she could steal from without being noticed. There were far too many people however. As she continued on her way, she noticed the sound of foot steps among the crowd, but these foot steps seemed to follow her. She began to think it was the same man. She looked behind her, from the corner of her eye and saw a begger. "curious" she thought, but she continued nevertheless.
She heard a voice calling to her. She turned around to face the man and smirked "Do you not have enough money with all those wallets you stole?" she looked at the stack of hay under him.

Elodie raised her eye brow with curiosity. She looked at him for a moment "he is certainly not a beggar" she thought.
She stood silent for a moment, deep in thought. He did not seem to have the right allure for a naval officer.
"A business proposal you say?" she said with a smirk. She felt her stomach growl with hunger. She stood in silence once more, and the idea that he might be able to take her out of town crossed her mind.
"Alright, I am willing to listen" she said somewhat reluctantly. "But i warn you sir, I am no fool" she said walking toward him.

(Well if you went with The Admiral you would have got a great meal but now whatch what you get lol)
"Yes, a chance for you to make more money then you can dream about. Woman if I thought that you were a fool then you would not be of any interest to me at all. Fallow me". He took her down a few dark streets that had noone around and finally reached the back door to a well hiden bar. "So how do you feel about makeing more money then you ever had before? Its not exactly legal but I don't think that would be a problem for you". He said in a low voice so that the others couldn't here, not they anyone would care as it looked that half the people there were pirates of thiefs themselfs. He turned to the bar tender. "Get us some food over here". He turned back to the girl. "So tell me, do you have any interest in being a pirate?"

Elodie followed him down the streets, and listened to his comments. As they entered the bar, she looked around curiously. She would have never known this place was even here. She turned back toward the man and sat down.
She listened to his proposition and was intregued. "A pirate?" she said pushing her hair back "I have to admit sir, I was only looking for a way to get out of here." she smirked "But your offer seems quite interesting."

"Well I must say that as glad as I am to have you with us I was ordered to chase you down by none other then The Pirate King himself. I am but his loyal servent and he always has the best taste in recruits. He told me that you looked not only like a good theif but he was quite sure that you could handle yourself in a fight as well". He looked at the food. You could tell that it was food but what it was exactly was unknown. He payed the man with the stolen money. "So do you want to meet him? He has better food then this thats for sure".

"the pirate King you say" she had heard of this man many times, but had never thought he was real. She looked at the man with doubtful eyes, but her curiosity took the best of her. If there was such a man, she wanted to meet him for herself. "I would be glad to meet your captain."

"Dear women, words like that would get you in big trouble. He has not been a Captain in many years. He is now an Admiral. Just fallow me and I'll bring you to him". He smiles and leads the girl away.

She raised her eye brow with curiosity. "Admiral?" she thought "Isnt admiral a position in the navy?" she looked confused, but her eyes widened in suprize. "Could he perhaps be the man that stopped me in the street before i met him?"
She thought this would make sense, but did not say anything as she would soon find out. She felt uncomfortable by this idea, but went with it, her dagger ready for combat, just in case.

(OOC: Did you think all of that or did you say it out loud? I thought that you siad it out loud and I typed all this and then I reread it and wasn't sure if you just thought it.)
"Yes indeed it is, but where do you think that pirates get thier ranks from? Terms like "Captain", and "First Mate" and such? Truth be told the real history is that The Navy creatated pirates as an act of warfair. The Navy couldn't go around rapeing and steeling and burning things to the ground and still look good as officers and gentalmen, also rules in The Navy make it elegal with harsh punishments and the babies didn't like that so they creatated Pirates. The goal was to have the pirates go and attack the emey, kill them with out captureing with a chance that they might live, steal thier war suplys and such. They can't win a war with out suplys. Anyways they soon found them selfs in trouble when they ran out of wars to have us do thier dirty work, and you don't expsect us to stop having fun do you? So they soon found out that they couldn't controll us after all".
He tryed to show that The Navy and Pirates were not all that different at least not to start off with. Hoping that that would make the fact that The Pirate King was also a Navy man less of a hard blow to take.
"Anyways The Pirate King keeps that link, that the pirates and The Navy share, alive weather ether side likes that link or not. He is The Admiral of The Fleet of The Navy and he uses that to protect us and spy on The Navy so that we always stay one steep ahead. As long as you serve him and stay on his good side then you may do as you please out on the sea and will never get cought. If you don't join him and they happen to catch you then he may have to hang you so that he looks good for The Queen and keeps his job. Betray him and he will kill you himself. Just don't be fooled, he may be a Navy man but he a better pirate under neith then all of us put together. I don't know of another man that could play the Navy for fools so well for so long and not get cought and still at the same time do as he pleases at sea. He did say that he was disapointed that you didn't join him for a meal and talked to you then, you might want to apologize for that to stay on his good side".
After all that was said they were finally at the harbor not far from his flag ship that showed off his Navy Rank and status.

(My character was actually thinking that, but since you made such a long post, that's fine...doesnt really matter)
Elodie listened carefully as they went alone, looking at him occasionally to make sure he was not trying to fool her. However incredible these facts seemed, she found them logical and after some thought, believable.
She smirked at his last comment and said "I have no intention of getting on the Admiral's bad side, but sir, tell me your honest opinion, would you believe it necessary to apologize for refusing dinner with one you thought was going to arrest you?"
She looked at him curiously, as she could almost predict what his answer would be.

(OOC: lol sorry I wouldn't have been able to think of anything to say with out it. I would have had to delet all that. lol well as long as your not mad. )(I hope this is not to confuseing, its ether the pirate guy that your talking to now or a Britsh Navy man. They switch off back and forth one line and back so it should not be to hard to fallow.) "Thats very good and very wise of you to plan to stay on his good side". "Well um I'm guessing not nessasary but it would be good to do it just in case thats for sure". As they aproched the dock five men with ready swords and muskets blocked thier path to the ship. "Halt who gose there?" "Who aproches the Admiral of The Fleet's ship and what reason do you have?" Said one of the men. "Me and her must be seeing The Admiral on something important". "He is expecting us". "Ah yes I recall him saying such as he passed by, something about a man a and a woman". They moved out of the way and allowed them to pass. When they reached the end of the dock and the bording ramp to the ship three men blocked thier path. "Halt who gose there and what reason do you have to be here?" "We are here to see The Admiral we must have a talk with him". "He is expecting us". "Is he now, are you sure?" "What proof do you have?" "d**n it Jack don't be a jerk let us pass". "I'm just doing my job I can't let you on the ship with out proof that you are to be here". "We are here to talk about, things". "What kind of things must you talk to The Admiral about?" "You know, secret things, extra secret things". He nodded his head at Elodie. "Her? Are you sure?" "Thats what he said, he wanted her". The man looked at the other two. "Let them pass they check out, they are safe". The next man spoke up. "Leave all wepons here, there are no wepons allow on the ship". He turned to Elodie. "Its ok we get them back when we leave".

Elodie followed silently, not really paying attention to the conversation between the men. When it came time to take her weapons out, she rolled her eyes as she did not like the idea of being defenseless, however she swiftly took her two daggers out, put them together and gave them to the man. She then took several knifes out of her coat and two more well hidden out of her boots. She searched herself once more and said "I think that's it, i'm not used to taking all of these out at once" she gave these last few to the man.

(Happy New Year. ) The man like wise took out a few knifes and daggers as well as two revolers. He looked over to Elodie. "Thats the first time someone had about as much as me". "Very well then, The Admiral is in his quarters please fallow me". After a few mins and another floor of the ship later they reachech two large wooden doors with stain glass windows each with a gard. The crewman that had brought the two there spoke. "Vistors for The Admial, they are expected". The two gards nod and move out of the way. The crewman opens the door. "The Admiral of The Fleet of The British Royal Navy, Admiral Thomas Cross Kincaid the I". The three of them and two gards enter the very large room. There in the well lit room is a large man sitting alone eating dinner. The large table is set for 12 with enough food to feed that number. It has every thing from fresh fruit from all over the world to meat to the finest wine. "Please come in sit down, grab something to eat". He looks up at Elodie. "Oh yes, your not hungery are you?" He says with a smirk on his face. The man sits down a few seats away from The Admiral and starts digging in and gobling down food. "I got her just like you say, you said we could use her bring her to me and what did I do? I brought her to you thats what I did, here she is just like you said". The Admiral looks at him. "Yes indeed, I can see that. I can also see that your talking with you mouth full and you sat down with out washing your hands or offering the young woman a seat".

(NEW YEAR, NEW YEAR, OH YEA....*does a little dance* un hun...don't mind my hyperness)
Elodie laughed as he watched the man take out several weapons. She followed him along deck, only one thought running through her mind "Well now, why does he need so many guards if he is as talented as they say?" she smirked, her thoughts continuing "he seems to have a slightly over-sized ego...." she raised her eye-brow a bit. She, of course, mentioned none of this to the man who had lead her here.
As they entered, she was stricken by the amount of food laid before them. She then looked at the Admiral, indeed the same man as she had met on the street. By now, she had seen enough to believe he was a pirate.
As the man spoke with his mouth full, she put her hand to her mouth, trying to stop herself from laughing. "Please, spare me the gallantry." she sat down a few places away from the Admiral and began to eat, gracefully of course.
